Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December, 1991. Matthew Matt James is the child of Manny James and Patty James of mixed race. Their father is Nigerian while his mother is caucasian American. In 2010 he graduated of Sanderson High School and furthered to Wake Forest University where he received a bachelor's degree Economics in 2015. James became famous when he appeared on The Bachelorette as a reality TV show star. James was selected to be the next bachelor in The Bachelor season 25, becoming the show's first African American male star. The show debuted later in that year. James seems to be the ideal candidate for this role as the tall and handsome man is humorous. Rachael krkconnell was chosen to play his partner during this season. In the season 30 (in 2021) of Dancing with the Stars, he competed with the dancer Arnold. James and Arnold finished 12th place.
