Aisling B a is born on on 16 March 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She appeared with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as her stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish actor, writer and comedian. Following appearances in bits on a number of Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea began her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. She was already regularly being featured on sketch comedy programs and sitcoms. After winning an award in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to appear regularly on different panel shows, where she is now a regular. She's been part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016, and she's a popular contestant of the show's sister show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born to Brian O'Sullivan, she is the mother of one sister named Sinead. In 2012 she became the second female to receive the So You think you're Funny award. Bea Her maiden name, which is her birth name, is a tribute to her father who passed away. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as Cliodhnadh Aisling was born in Kildare town in County Kildare. The father of Bea was Brian was a veterinarian who worked with horses who died by suicide when she was just three years old. But, she was not aware of the cause for her father's death until 13 years later. In honor of her father, she took the stage name Bea and, in the year 2017, published an article on suicides that affected her family for The Guardian. Bea's mom Helen, who is also a jockey-trainer and former pro jockey was in charge of the care of her daughter and Sinead. They were obsessed with race meetings as well as horses. Bea began her career as an official guide for tourists for the Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her passion was for performing and not racing.
